The French School of Harare is delighted to invite students, families, and friends to International Day 2025 on Saturday, 8 November 2025 — a joyful celebration of cultural diversity, learning, and community.
The celebrations will begin with a colorful flag march, where students proudly carry the flags of countries represented in our school community. This ceremonial start sets the tone for a day filled with unity, pride, and cultural exchange.
One of the highlights of International Day is the French Food Contest, where families can showcase their country’s cuisine, creativity, and culinary skills. Students and parents will have the opportunity to taste, vote, and celebrate the delicious entries. The winner of the French Food Contest will receive a special prize, which will be personally awarded by Ambassador Paul-Bertrand Barets, making the moment even more memorable for participants.
International Day is a highlight of our school calendar, bringing together students, teachers, and families to explore and share the rich cultural traditions of our global community. Families are encouraged to showcase their country’s cuisine, clothing, crafts, and traditions, turning the school into a vibrant hub of multicultural experiences.
This year, we are especially proud to continue our tradition of celebrating creativity, collaboration, and cultural understanding among our students.
