On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the French International School of Harare came together to celebrate its End of Year Party, a memorable event filled with music, dance, emotion, and community spirit.
Students showcased their talents through a variety of high-quality performances that entertained and inspired the audience. The program featured traditional Zimbabwean instruments such as the mbira and marimba, alongside contemporary songs, hip-hop performances, and creative dance routines. Traditional dances presented by the students highlighted the rich diversity and multicultural identity of our school community, reflecting the values of openness and cultural exchange that define our institution.

The day also marked important milestones through several transition ceremonies. Our Terminale students celebrated the completion of their secondary education and bid farewell to their school years with gratitude, pride, and determination as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their academic journey at universities around the world.

A particularly emotional moment was dedicated to Mrs. Pauline Rannou, who will be leaving the school at the end of the academic year after ten years of dedicated service. Throughout her decade of teaching, she has inspired generations of students and contributed immensely to the life of the school. Her commitment, kindness, and professionalism leave a lasting legacy that will be remembered by students, colleagues, and families alike.
Following the official programme, families, students, and staff gathered for a friendly picnic where they shared food, conversations, and cherished memories. The afternoon was further enriched by a special art exhibition presented by one of our school parents, owner of a local art gallery. Guests had the opportunity to discover and appreciate a carefully curated collection of artworks, adding a unique cultural and creative experience to the celebration. The combination of community fellowship and artistic discovery created a warm and memorable conclusion to the school year.
