Our students recently had the pleasure of welcoming Pako Major, from Guadeloupe, for a special and inspiring encounter centred around cartoons, animation and storytelling.
During his visit, Pako Major introduced our students to his creative work and shared cartoons and stories inspired by his world. The children were immediately captivated by the colourful animations, engaging characters and humour, making the experience both entertaining and educational.

At the French School of Harare, our multicultural and diverse school community gives our students many opportunities to discover different cultures and perspectives. Meeting an artist from Guadeloupe was a wonderful way for them to explore creativity from another part of the world and connect with stories beyond their everyday environment.
The enthusiasm of our students was clear throughout the session. Their laughter, curiosity and questions showed how easily art and animation can bring people and cultures together.

Experiences like this encourage our students to remain curious about the world around them while discovering new forms of artistic expression. They also reflect the importance of cultural exchange in creating an open, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
A big thank you to Pako Major for sharing his talent, creativity and passion with our students and for bringing so much joy to our classrooms.
