On Friday, 20 June 2025, our school hosted a fascinating event: the Geological Time Walk, an educational journey through the history of the universe and our planet. Designed as an immersive experience, this walk allowed students to physically trace the timeline of Earth—from the creation of the universe all the way to the present day.
The walk took place around the school grounds and was divided into carefully marked sections, each representing a major milestone in geological history. At each stop, students explored key events in the evolution of our planet—from the formation of the Earth and the appearance of the first life forms, to the rise of dinosaurs, mass extinctions, and finally, the emergence of humans.
This symbolic journey through geological time helped students visualize the vast scale of Earth’s history and understand humanity’s relatively recent place within it. It was not only a learning opportunity but also an inspiring reflection on the natural wonders that have shaped our world.
By walking through billions of years in just a few hundred meters, students gained a deeper appreciation for science, history, and our planet’s incredible journey. The Geological Time Walk proved to be both educational and awe-inspiring—a reminder that we are all part of a much larger story still being written.
