The French School of Harare proudly hosted a highly successful Career Forum Day, bringing together students, professionals, and partner institutions for a dynamic day of learning, exploration, and inspiration.
The event welcomed eight participating schools — the French School, Chisipite Senior School, Oakwood Academy, Prince Edward School, Waterfalls Adventist School, Watershed College, Winwood College, and Daramombe High School — with a total of 137 students eager to discover new career pathways.

To support and guide them, we brought together 51 industry professionals representing a wide range of sectors, alongside 19 exhibition stands that offered interactive demonstrations, real-world insights, and meaningful conversations. The atmosphere throughout the day was vibrant as students moved from stand to stand, asking thoughtful questions and engaging deeply with the experts.
Our event also attracted strong media attention, with 7 journalists from leading organisations including Alpa Media Holding, ZBC National FM, and ZiFM Stereo joining us to capture the highlights of the day. Their presence reflects the growing impact and relevance of the Career Forum within Zimbabwe’s educational landscape.
Throughout the programme, students had the opportunity to interact directly with professionals, explore various fields, and gain a clearer understanding of the education and skills required for their future careers. Many shared how eye-opening and motivating the experience was.
As a school, we are proud to provide a platform that bridges the gap between classroom learning and the professional world. The success of this event stands as a testament to our commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and exposure they need to thrive in an ever-evolving global environment.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all visiting schools, participating professionals, media partners, and the dedicated team who worked behind the scenes to ensure the event’s smooth delivery.
We look forward to hosting an even more exciting Career Forum next year.
