The French School is buzzing with excitement this week as Kirsty Jean’s captivating art exhibition continues to draw in visitors from across our community. From December 3rd to December 11th, 2025, our halls have been transformed into a vibrant celebration of colour, creativity, and the richness of the natural world. With more than fifty original artworks on display, the exhibition invites everyone—students, parents, teachers, and guests—to pause, observe, and appreciate both the familiar and the unexpected subjects brought to life through Kirsty’s unique style.

The opening night on Wednesday, December 3rd, was a resounding success. Families, staff members, and art lovers filled the exhibition space, eager to explore Kirsty’s diverse collection. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with visitors taking their time to admire the intricate details, expressive textures, and bold colours that define her work. Whether depicting local birdlife, elements of nature, or other thoughtfully crafted subjects, each piece offered something meaningful to discover.

As the exhibition continues, members of the school community have expressed their admiration for the range and depth of Kirsty’s artistic vision. Her pieces highlight both the fragility and resilience of the natural world, encouraging viewers to look at their surroundings with renewed curiosity and care. Through her art, Kirsty hopes to inspire people to pay closer attention to the life around them—whether perched on a branch, growing quietly in a garden, or hidden in everyday scenery.

This exhibition is more than an art display—it is a gentle reminder of nature’s quiet magic and the beauty found in close observation. It invites us to celebrate creativity, reflect on our environment, and appreciate the small wonders woven into our daily lives. With a few days still remaining, there is plenty of time for everyone to come and experience the colour, depth, and spirit of Kirsty Jean’s extraordinary work.
