Good evening to all,
We hope that everyone had a delightful break during the French Holiday called La Toussaint. This ten-day holiday is a special time for families to come together, remember their loved ones, and enjoy shared meals and cherished moments.

As we transition into the beginning of summer, we thought it would be an exciting opportunity to draw a picturesque comparison between the summer experiences in Zimbabwe and the captivating land of France. Imagine Zimbabwe’s warm embrace, where the sun showers us with its golden rays, and we find solace in the joyous sounds of laughter echoing throughout the beautiful landscapes.

Similarly, envision the vibrant summers of France, where the gentle breeze dances through the streets, carrying the enchanting aroma of freshly baked croissants and offering endless avenues for exploration and adventure. Whether it’s a leisurely picnic in a scenic park or a refreshing dip in crystal-clear lakes, the French summer exudes a certain charm that is both alluring and enticing. So, parents, let your imagination wander, and let these vivid images transport you to the realm of the French joie de vivre!

We are pleased to see the students back in class, ready to embark on a new term of educational adventures. We trust that parents and children had a wonderful break, creating timeless memories with family and friends. Now that we are back, let’s dive into the excitement of the school routine once again.

Swimming Lessons

We would like to inform you that swimming lessons will commence next week for some students, from beginners to experienced swimmers. These lessons will take place on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Swimming is not only a valuable life skill but also a great way for children to stay active and make the most of the upcoming summer season.

The General Assembly on Tuesday 7 November

Additionally, we would like to remind you that the general assembly will be held on Tuesday, 7th November. This gathering provides an excellent opportunity for parents to be informed and actively engage in important discussions about the school. During the assembly, we will be sharing vital information and presenting the school budget for the upcoming period. We believe in transparency and value your input and feedback. Your presence is highly encouraged and appreciated.
On that note, our parents’ representatives Regine and Crystal are available to you, should you have any comments/feedback/questions that need to be raised on your behalf at the next General Assembly or any other time.

Welcoming The New COCAC

We are excited to introduce Mr. Benjamin Durrenberger as our new COCAC (Cultural and Cooperation Councillor). Mr. Durrenberger will be introducing himself to the school community during the general assembly and sharing his plans for enhancing cultural activities and fostering cooperation within our school community. Furthermore, Mr. Pierre Grard, the esteemed Head of the Board, will be present during the assembly to address any questions or concerns that parents may have.
Moreover, we cannot wait to give you a first glimpse of our exciting school plans and projects as we embark on this new chapter. Your opinions and perspectives matter greatly to us, as they shape the future of our educational institution. We encourage parents to voice their views, suggestions, and choices for the school. Together, we can create a vibrant and enriching learning environment for our students.

Lastly, we would like to inform parents that starting from this edition, the newsletter will now be shared on our school website. By making this change, we aim to improve accessibility and ensure that everyone can easily access the latest news and important updates. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

We look forward to the upcoming weeks filled with educational growth, exciting events, and community engagement. As always, we are committed to providing our students with a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters their holistic development.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend, and we cannot wait to continue this journey of excellence together.
Best regards,
LC
