Our Primary classes recently enjoyed a lively Galette des Rois celebration, giving students a fun and interactive introduction to this traditional French custom.
During the activity, the students learned how galettes are made, following the different steps with their teachers and working together in the classroom. The session encouraged interaction, cooperation, and active participation.
The students first enjoyed the galette together, sharing a special moment linked to this French tradition. As part of the custom, a small figurine hidden inside the cake was then used to choose the King. The student who found the figurine became the King and proudly wore a crown, making the moment joyful and memorable for everyone.
We would like to thank the school for organizing this enriching activity, which allowed students to learn, interact, and celebrate culture in a meaningful way. We look forward to sharing many more interesting stories around this beautiful tradition next year, including videos created with the students.
