International Day 2026 – A Journey Around the World

Community Manager

On Saturday, June 6, our school had the honor of hosting International Day, a vibrant celebration that brought together families, students, and staff to share the flavors and cultures of the world. The event transformed our campus into a true international crossroads, where everyone could discover and enjoy traditions from across the globe.

This year, families presented stands from Botswana, Canada, the Czech Republic, China, France, Iran, Italy, Madagascar, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, the United States, and Zimbabwe. Each nation brought its traditions, tastes, and colors to life through food, music, and cultural presentations, offering everyone a journey around the world in just one day.

The highlight of the day was the Best Stand Cup, awarded by Benjamin Durrenberger, Head of Cooperation at the French Embassy, and decided by the children themselves. With 114 votes cast after visiting each stand, the results were announced with great excitement: Madagascar took first place, while Italy and Nigeria shared second place ex aequo, and France came in third.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the parents, staff, and students who made International Day 2026 such a wonderful success. Thanks to your energy, creativity, and spirit of sharing, this day will remain a cherished moment of joy and pride for our school. Together, we celebrated the diversity and unity that make our community so unique.
