New this year at the Jean de La Fontaine School Group in Harare: we organized our first French and Francophone Song Contest! 13 public and private schools, middle schools and high schools, nearly 200 students from other schools, came to take up the challenge and sang in French! The choice of songs was free and we are amazed by the quality of the performances and the work done by our partners. The members of the jury represented the embassies of Switzerland, Canada, the Embassy of France and the Consulate of Belgium.

I would like to express my warmest thanks to H.E. Laurent Chevallier and H.E. Adler Aristilde (he/him) as well as to Jean Goncalves, Honorary Consul of Belgium, for their support and interest in this first edition. Their presence was much appreciated.
